Hop off the Taxi anytime to catch a fitness class from some of the venues along the Route. Hop back on the taxi and enjoy cool seabreezes on your ride back. A good variety of fitness classes are offered inside or outside during the week.

Sparkman Wharf

Wellness at the Wharf – 1st Wednesday of the Month 6:00-7:00pm

Introducing a monthly wellness series kicking off in March – Wellness at the Wharf! The first Wednesday evening of every month Sparkman Wharf will partner with lululemon Tampa to provide relaxing yoga classes to help get you through the week!

Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park

VKNG PRIMAL MVMT – Mondays at 6pm

VKNG PRIMAL MVMT is an anatomical movement study style workout. We take and explore / dissect natural movement patterns of humans and other animals to create a totally unique and effective workout.  The class helps to increase blood flow, correct posture, correct workout form, and prevent injury.

Zumba in the Park – Tuesdays at 6pm

In partnership with the Downtown YMCA, instructor Meagan Simmons leads all ages of attendees in Zumba, a Latin-inspired dance and cardio workout.

Bamboozle Fit Club – Wednesdays at 6pm

Urban Sweat Shop and Bamboozle Café lead a cross-fit/boot camp style class for all experience levels. Many attendees arrive in groups and follow their workout at Bamboozle Café for healthy dinner menu items.

Barre in the Park – Thursdays at 6pm

Led by instructors from the Bryan Glazer Jewish Community Center, Barre in the Park mixes elements of Pilates, dance, yoga and functional training, and the moves are choreographed to motivating music.

Yoga in the Park – Sundays at 6pm, (Daylight Savings Time) >> 5pm (Winter Hours)

In operation since 2010, the Tampa Downtown Partnership is proud to continue it’s Sunday Yoga in the Park tradition with our newest addition, seasoned yoga instructors from Lucky Cat Yoga.

Armature Works

The Bar Method Class – August 8 from 6:30-7:30pm

The Bar Method Studio and Armature Works have teamed up to present a high intensity, low impact full body workout focused on toning and lengthening your muscles. The newest fitness class in our programming schedule will be held in the Social Room and is free to attend. Developed with physical therapists, The Bar Method is transformational, and can help you achieve your specific fitness goals, whether you’re looking for strength training, increased flexibility, weight loss, or increased tone. Space is limited and this class is first come, first serve. Please bring a yoga mat, a reusable water bottle, and arrive early to ensure entry.

Armature Works

Armature Works Run Club – First Wednesdays of the Month from 6:30-8:00pm

Join us at Armature Works for a 5k on the Riverwalk followed by great food and drinks within Heights Public Market. A short warm up will begin at 6:30pm. Run, enjoy 10% off drinks at BAR at Armature and meet new people! All ages and experience levels are welcome. Armature Works Run Club is made possible by Fit2Run.
